Choices of Infertility Cure for Women

Infertility is a complicated issue because the problems vary from couple to couple and accordingly, the solutions vary too. A couple may fail to conceive due to a variety of causes, in which the male, female or both may be responsible for the condition. Female reproductive health plays a key role in the ability of a couple to produce healthy offspring and a variety of treatment techniques have been devised to treat infertility issues in women. Fertility specialists study the problem of the woman and suggest the right treatment as per the need and the problem.

Here are the choices of infertility cure available for women:

Fertility Medication

A number of medicines are available for diverse problems of women, acting as a barrier to pregnancy. Most of the time, medication is recommended for women combating ovulation problems in women. These medicines are clomifene, tamoxifen, metformin and gonadotrophin, all of which regulate the hormonal function and stimulate ovulation.

Fallopian Tube Surgery

Another option for creating infertility in women is fallopian tube surgery, a technique used to clear out the tubal blockage or repair the damaged tubes. It is done when the fallopian tubes are damaged or blocked with scar tissue, which is preventing the ripened egg from reaching from the uterus.

Endometrial Surgery

Endometriosis is a condition in which there is growth of endometrial tissue at places other than the inner lining of the uterus, such as in the ovaries. This condition is corrected with the help of a laparoscopic surgery for the removal of scar tissue.

Intrauterine Insemination (IUI)

Intrauterine insemination or artificial insemination is an assisted reproductive technique used for transfer of sperm directly to the uterus with the help of a plastic tube. This one is useful for women who are combating some structural problems related to the uterus or cervix, or where selective sperms have to be used for making conception possible.

In Vitro Fertilization (IVF)

In Vitro Fertilization is the Assisted Reproductive Technique which involves the combining of eggs with sperms to form embryos under the lab conditions and placing the so formed embryo in the uterus of the woman for the pregnancy to continue normally. This method is again used in women with problems related to egg formation in the ovaries.

Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI)

This infertility technique is similar to IVF, except for the fact that it uses a selective sperm to carry out fertilization and this sperm is directly injected into the egg to be fertilized under the lab conditions.

Egg Donation

When a woman is not producing eggs at all or viable eggs to make a pregnancy, egg donation comes up as a feasible fertility cure for her. Here, healthy eggs are taken from the donor and used for IVF or ICSI to maximize the success rate of these techniques.

Surrogacy

When a woman has lost her uterus or the uterus is not in a condition to bear a baby, she has to try out the treatment option called surrogacy, in which a surrogate mother is hired to carry the baby in her womb till the pregnancy is materialized.

It is the responsibility of a fertility clinic to make a comprehensive evaluation of the condition of a woman and suggest the right method of treatment for her.

Having a Baby – How Important Is It To You?

There comes a time in every couple’s life when all the focus lies on having a baby and if they encounter some problems, they can be difficult to deal with. Not until do they start trying for a baby, they realize how important it is for them. The coming of a baby may bring a lot of responsibilities with it, but the pleasures of having a piece of you in your arms are literally unmatched.

Here are some reasons why it is absolutely important to have a baby:

1. A baby brings a couple closer together

When a couple decides that they want a baby, it is a way to take their relationship to the next level. A baby gives their love a tangible form and their bond may become stronger after they have their bundle of joy in their arms.

2. A new sense of belonging

A baby makes you a part of real world, where you can connect with parents who too, are seeing their babies grow and you will love to share your mutual experiences. Having a baby brings a sense of belonging and the inner pride that you have given birth to a new life.

3. The feeling of a family

After having a new being in your life, you realize that you are no longer a couple now but a family. You start looking at things in a different manner and grow as a parent, learning everyday with experiences. There may be some sleepless nights and tantrums to face, but for the family feeling you get, these are just small prices to pay.

4. Parenthood makes you compassionate

When you become a mother of father, the self centered streak inside you fades away and you tend to become more understanding and compassionate. You are now in a better to be empathic towards the situations that once irritated you, such as the problems of a co worker who usually turned up late because her baby was sick.

5. Getting your child’s hug is an amazing feeling
Another thing that makes having a baby very important is the love and affection you get from your baby, with smiles and hugs coming as the best gifts from the little one. Every moment, every gesture and every new thing that the baby does can be sheer pleasure for you and you are going to love every moment spent with him.
6. You become more responsible

When a baby comes in your life, you naturally become more responsible and learn to set your priorities. For instance, taking your kid for a stroll in the park suddenly becomes more important than going for shopping, and the best thing about it is that you are ready to do it all happily.

In the end, having a baby is the most precious experience for parents because they are born with the baby and grow up every day with him, learning the new experiences of parenting. Life may no longer be easy, but it is definitely more beautiful and fulfilling with a baby around.

Overview & Benefits of Surrogacy in India

Surrogacy is a medical procedure which gives a new lease of hope to childless couples, who have failed in all their attempts to have children naturally or through treatment. It involves having a child born through another woman, who is called surrogate mother and the whole procedure is governed by a contract. India has recently come up as a premier surrogacy destination, with childless couples from around the world coming here to seek the joy of having their own baby. In fact, the first surrogate baby was born in the country back in 1994, though commercial surrogacy was legalized here by the Supreme Court much later, in 2002.
